Namaste,
a greeting often heard in that most welcoming of countries, India. I am fortunate to have visited India many times, mostly on business, but occasionally to visit friends and relatives there. As my wife and two daughters are Indian I try to maintain my links there. I also help a good friend with his holiday business and hope, one day to be able to spend more time there.

- As I update this I have just been elected one of eleven Liberal Democrat councillors in Epsom. I'm slowly adjusting to the needs and responsibilities of being a councillor - a slow learning process. I'm also recovering from a triple-bypass in March. I'm finding it very frustrating not being able to work yet but even moreso not being able to ride my motorbike. I have started to do very short trips and will hopefully increase my range slowly. I feel better than I have for years and am so glad I had the op. Next task is to start looking for another contract - I'll probably being able to do that at the end of june. Also need to complete building works and decorating house. We have recently had a new bathroom and converted a garage/workshop intl an office. The new stuff makes the old look much shabbier. Hence the desire to get on and finish.
